Gurney anti-slavery pamphlet collection

This collection of late 18th-century anti-slavery tracts was compiled by Elizabeth Gurney, a member of a well- known Baptist family. It includes poetry by William Cowper, illustrations depicting the cruel methods of restraint used on slaves, and Elizabeth’s annotations to the texts.
